We have been able to identify and remove scammers who have been in our community for years. Even better, they’re losing money from trying to scam haha While we knew this process would be challenging, we have successfully navigated it. We will reissue LGXY as LGCYX (tonight) to maintain our LGCY branding and mitigate the confusion we were experiencing. To address the issue of ineligible tokens and provide additional benefits, such as blacklisting addresses associated with front-running bots, we will be implementing pausable, blacklist, and permit functions. Access to these functions will be temporary, and we will renounce ownership of the contract as soon as its purpose is served.
Benefits of the Functions
1. Pausable Function:
- Benefit: Allows us to temporarily halt token transfers in case of suspicious activity or emergencies. This provides an extra layer of security and helps prevent potential exploits or attacks.
2. Blacklist Function:
- Benefit: Enables us to block addresses associated with malicious activities, such as front-running bots or scammers. This helps protect the integrity of our community and ensures a safer environment for legitimate users.
3. Permit Function:
- Benefit: Allows for gasless approvals, meaning users can approve token transfers without needing to pay gas fees. This enhances the user experience by making transactions more convenient and cost-effective.
We tried to avoid this originally but it’s the right decision and it’ll only be “centralized” temporarily.
In Addition
1. We will give out the rewards for staking but after this swap is done.
2. Swap contract won’t be out for another week. Once all wallets with ineligible have be frozen.
